How long is the plan?

Peak Physique is billed either as a 3-month block or on a rolling monthly basis. It’s ideal for ongoing progress, but you’re never locked into anything long term.

Can I upgrade to Bio-Builder later?

Yes. If you want a deeper level of support or decide you want to compete, you can upgrade to Bio-Builder at any time. Or, if we identify health issues you want to manage and take control of, this is a great time to upgrade too. You’ll keep all your training and tracking data.

Do I need to track calories?

It’s highly recommended, even if its only temporary, it's hugely eye opening and gives you a real insight into your nutrition. But, I’ll work with your preferences and experience level. I’ll also help you build meals that support performance and recovery, not just weight loss.

How do check-ins work?

You’ll send me your weekly check-in data (through the app) covering sleep, mood, digestion, progress markers, adherence, and any relevant feedback. I’ll respond with a written and voice note review, outlining and data-driven updates to your plan, and recommendations to keep progressing—or pivot where needed.

Do you give supplement advice?

Yes, within reason. I’ll recommend foundational supplements (e.g. creatine, magnesium, protein, sleep support) and explain how to use them. If you want deep intervention design or bloodwork-led stack advice, that’s part of Bio-Builder. However, as a Peak Physique client you get 25% off consultations if you ever want to discuss one of these in depth areas.

🤝Working With Me

How is this different from a standard personal trainer or online coach?

Most PTs offer a training plan, maybe a macro target, and some weekly motivation. I offer you answers. Bio-Builder is a data-driven health and performance strategy. Think of it as an individualised blueprint that combines training, nutrition, bloodwork interpretation, recovery design, supplement protocols, and actual long-term optimisation. This isn’t “exercise more, eat less.” This is: “Why is your system underperforming—and how do we fix it properly?”

How are you different from other coaches?

I didn’t set out to coach, finding my passion for that came later. I set out to be a scientist and competitive bodybuilder. I obtained my degree in Biology in 2013. Specialising in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Metabolism and Medicinal Microbiology. I then worked as a scientist in the medical R&D sector, studying drug delivery to the lungs in the treatment of COPD and Cystic Fibrosis. I had my scientific research published (pubmed link) and presented it at the Drug Delivery conference in Edinburgh.
I’m a scientist, who’s spent years turning my in depth knowledge of biology and pharmacology into real-world performance and health outcomes. I’m up to date with the latest clinical trial research, new and promising compounds, safety and efficacy data. I literally read scientific research for the joy of it! You get a decade plus of my knowledge, research and established expert network, driving every decision in your bespoke plan

Do I need to be advanced to work with you?

Not at all. Many of my clients are quite new to structured training and nutrition. Some are recovering from burnout, chronic fatigue or injuries. Others are seasoned gym rats looking to take it to the next level. Then individuals on HRT or fully enhanced athletes looking to protect their long-term health and maximise physical and cognitive performance. The only requirement is a mindset. That you’re ready to take your health seriously and change for the better.

How do check-ins work?

You’ll send me your weekly check-in data (through the app) covering sleep, mood, digestion, progress markers, adherence, and any relevant feedback. I’ll respond with a personalised video, outlining and data-driven updates to your plan, and recommendations to keep progressing—or pivot where needed. This will be accompanied by written feedback and supporting material for reference.

What if I’ve got other health issues going on?

That’s exactly what this plan is for. If you’re struggling with unresolved fatigue, pain, hormonal issues, poor digestion, or menopausal symptoms, we can start digging into why and give you clear strategies. I am not a doctor, and I am not providing medical advice or prescriptions. But, I’ll work around any diagnosed conditions, and if something is outside my scope, I’ll always tell you clearly and refer to a network of experts I have established or recommend you speak to your doctor. There's often many overlooked lifestyle, supplementation and nutrition gaps that can massively improve your issues though. I can offer you hugely insightful support and advice that you just won't be offered elsewhere. We will leave no stone unturned, looking at your bloodwork, micronutrient deficiencies, even genetic analysis to built the ultimate personalised healthcare plan that will be effective for you.

🧬Bio-Builder Plan Specifics

What makes Bio-Builder different from a standard coaching plan?

It’s not just an extra zoom call and some freebies—it’s a fundamentally different level of coaching. You’re not getting surface-level suggestions or cookie-cutter protocols. You’re getting deep scientific knowledge driving lab interpretation, protocol design, and long-term physiological optimisation. Most coaches guess. I use data and scientific rationale to treat the root cause and drive progress.

How do you use my bloodwork results?

Once you complete your test, I review the results in context—not just in isolation. Something most GP’s or online doctor notes on the tests don’t, or can’t do. This is especially important for athletes or enhanced individuals that should expect some markers to be elevated. I look at trends, ratios, interactions, and your real-world symptoms. I interpret them like a health analyst, not just a coach. From there, I design your supplementation and recovery protocols around what you actually need.

Do I have to be on HRT or PEDs?

No. You don’t need to be enhanced to benefit from Bio-Builder. It is designed to optimise your personal biology, whatever your lifestyle choices are. But if you are using (or planning to use) hormones or PEDs, this plan gives you the expert guidance to manage risk, maximise productivity, progress, and stay as healthy as possible while you do.

Can you help me come off medication or reduce symptoms?

I don’t prescribe or replace medical advice—but what I can do is help support your system so it starts working better. Many clients are able to reduce their reliance on certain medications by improving sleep, hormonal balance, gut health, and inflammation. I’ll always work within risk-minimised, evidence-based protocols and use blood work analysis to ensure your health status. Referring to you to industry experts or your GP where needed.

Where’s the line between what you offer and what a GP would do?

I’m not a doctor, and I don’t replace medical advice or diagnosis. I won’t prescribe or tell you to stop taking medication. What I offer is advanced health coaching rooted in biology, bloodwork interpretation, and personal health optimisation. If anything is beyond my scope, I’ll advise you to speak to your GP—and I’m happy to work alongside them when needed. If you decide to self medicate, that is your personal choice and risk/responsibility. I will support you and offer advice, guidance and management. I understand the system often fails us, and being empowered to take control of your own health and future has its benefits too. I am paid by you, to provide you the best service possible. A doctor needs to get you out the door and avoid offering you anything that might add to their department spending.

Can you help with female-specific health issues—like hormones, peri-menopause, fertility or pre-pregnancy support?

Absolutely. Women are not small men. They thrive in an *estrogen dominant environment and face unique hormonal challenges. I am well educated in female endocrinology and have a strong understanding of hormone balance, cycle tracking, menopause management, and nutritional or supplement protocols to support female physiology. I can support natural hormone optimisation and HRT (even enhancement for athletes). I also know my limits, and have a great network of female health professionals to consult with (with your permission). Where needed, I’ll recommend specific lab markers to investigate and build plans around what your body needs.

🩸Bloodwork & Privacy

Can you order the test for me?

Due to UK GDPR and medical privacy regulations, I’m unable to purchase or manage blood tests on your behalf. These tests involve sensitive health data, and labs require that you, as the patient, order them directly in your own name. This ensures compliance with data protection laws and maintains your confidentiality. It is also not logistically possible for me to order tests for my international clients either.

What tests do I need?

That depends entirely on your symptoms and goals. It may include hormonal panels, thyroid, inflammation markers, cortisol, lipids, liver/kidney function, or nutrient status. I’ll guide you toward the exact test you need—no guesswork or wasted spend. Initially however, it's very worthwhile to get a full panel that covers all systems health. Think of it as a full body MOT. Let's figure out where everything is at and if there are any red flags or gaps.

How often will I need to retest my bloodwork?

It depends on your goals and what we’re working on. For general optimisation, 1–2 tests per year is enough. If we’re addressing something more acute (e.g. inflammation, hormones, fatigue), I may recommend retesting every 8–12 weeks. If you are an enhanced athlete pushing the limits, every 4-8 weeks. This is the price you have to pay to redline your body and manage risk appropriately. I’ll always balance clinical value with cost-effectiveness, making sure you’re not spending money unnecessarily. As with everything we do, there will be a clear purpose and outcome we are looking for.

How much does blood testing cost?

Most full spectrum tests fall in the £120–£200 range, depending on scope. Some more specific tests are in the £40-80 range. You’ll receive a practitioner discount using my referral code, and I’ll always aim to keep things efficient. In future, I may be able to subsidise or include tests directly in the BB plan via lab partnerships. Blood tests might seem expensive, but you’d pay 1000x that to be healthy again if you were sick and in decline. The reality is most diseases are preventable if detected early. It is worth every penny if you claim to care about your health.

What other testing might be required?

Bloodwork is our primary diagnostic tool. Occasionally, we may look at stool tests, Intolerance / allergy tests, or micronutrient assessments depending on symptoms. I’ll never recommend any test unless there’s a clear rationale. If I suspect a serious underlying issue, I’ll advise you to speak to your GP for more formal diagnostics. For example signs of liver stress may lead us to seek a GP referral, or go private for a liver ultrasound scan.
It also depends on the clients budget and desire for knowledge and risk management. I personally also have done full genetic analysis to identify and predisposed risks I might have. This is something we can explore too for those who want to tick every box.

How are you keeping my personal data safe—especially bloodwork results or health issues we discuss?

Any health-related data you share with me is stored securely and privately using Proton drive. You can also contact me through my proton mail email (fully encrypted and private. I do not store or share anything beyond our direct work together. I don’t access NHS records or request unnecessary information. I operate fully within UK GDPR guidelines, and I will never share or use your personal data outside of your coaching programme.Medichecks will not share your data with anyone, other that Public Health England IF your test flags a legally notifiable disease. What if all my blood markers come back within the normal range?

“Normal” doesn’t always mean “optimal.” Lab ranges are population-wide estimates, not reflective of peak health. 60%+ of our population are obese or overweight, pre-diabetic, tired and addicted. They are health timebombs ticking away. Reference ranges are population averages that are adjusted to represent “normal”. Is that what you want to be compared against as the gold standard? I know I don't. I look at optimal and functional ranges, trends, and symptoms in context. Just because a marker is within range doesn’t mean it’s supporting your goals or optimised. We go deeper.
The flip side of this is perhaps you have a symptom, but your blood test comes back with everything optimal/normal, and no questionable ratios between different markers. This closes the door on potential options, getting us closer to the route cause. This is equally valuable data.

Do you get access to my personal medical data?

I only get access to the results you share with me voluntarily. I do not access any NHS records or private healthcare systems. Everything you provide is reviewed confidentially and stored in line with secure GDPR-compliant practices.

💳Payments & Commitments

How long is the plan?

The Bio-Builder plan runs on a rolling monthly basis, with an initial minimum 3-month commitment. That allows us time to test, intervene, and observe real physiological change.

Can I drop down to Peak Physique after BB?

Absolutely. Once your health is stable and your systems are running well, you can transition to my more traditional, yet still totally data-driven coaching structure to focus purely on body composition, strength and lifestyle maintenance.

Are blood tests included in the price?

No they are not, as mentioned above UK data and medical laws prevent this. But you’ll get access to private lab discounts through my partnership. In future, I may offer inclusive options if I can secure a billing agreement with the lab. I am always striving to get you the best deals possible.

What’s your cancellation or refund policy?

I operate a 30-day rolling agreement after the initial commitment period. You can cancel with at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle. Due to the depth of work involved, I don’t offer refunds on any previous months.

📊Results & Support

How fast will I see results?

That depends on your *current state. If you’re dealing with significant dysfunction or chronic stress, some changes may take 4–6 weeks to stabilise. Others, like improved digestion or energy, often appear much sooner. We track everything so you’ll see trends, not guesswork.

What happens if I feel worse before I feel better?

That can happen. If we’re rebalancing your gut, hormones, or inflammation, your body may go through adjustment. But you’ll never be left to figure it out alone. I’ll be monitoring and adjusting as needed. This is where having expert support makes all the difference.

Can I message you between check-ins?

Yes! BB clients have priority access. You can message me through the app or whatsapp between check-ins for questions, updates, or concerns. This isn’t a once-a-week email service. You’ve got someone in your corner.

📚 My Background

I hold a degree in Biological Sciences, with specialist focus in:
Pharmacology, Metabolism, Medicinal Chemistry, Medical Microbiology.
I started my career in respiratory medical R&D, working in drug development for conditions like COPD and cystic fibrosis. My research has been published (PMID: 27635793) and presented at national drug delivery conferences. I’ve worked alongside PhDs, clinicians, and industrial chemists on projects where getting it wrong meant patient outcomes.Later, I transitioned into data-heavy roles in investment banking, where I became a specialist in automation, Python modelling, and visual analytics—helping teams reduce error, increase insight, and think clearly under pressure.

🏋️ From Lab to Lifting: The Story

Science was always part of me, I discovered my passion for bodybuilding and coaching later. My mum was a science teacher and the Head of Science and Mathematics at the local college. She distilled critical thinking, curiosity and a desire for knowledge in me from a young age. Science felt like the natural path for me, I wanted to be a scientist.I was first exposed to bodybuilding when I went to uni. I had started going to the gym at school to get bigger for rugby and american football, but I didn't really know what I was doing. I was lucky enough to be taken under the wing of an amazing group of bodybuilders. They showed me the ropes and coached me to my first junior bodybuilding show. Something I am forever grateful for and endeavour to pass on to others.

For years, I juggled the extremes. Full-time corporate stress of medical R&D, then sales and the investment banking industry. Early training sessions, tightly controlled nutrition, and very little room for error. I thought more was better, I thought I had to push harder. I thought wrong.I watched colleagues around me sacrifice their health and vitality to the pressure-cooker that is the finance industry. Many burned out, some succeeded, but at great cost. It was dragging me down too and I was losing my way.About 1% of the people there were kicking ass. I had to learn how, and I did. I leaned back into the science, and my data analysis skills. Building systems, curating my environment, figuring out the highest impact areas to focus.
I got promoted twice, got into the best shape of my life, started building my coaching business and had a great time dating, being lucky enough to find my life partner.
Eventually, I left the desk life behind—and took the whole system with me.I now live a nomadic lifestyle, coaching clients while training on the road—living in a van, moving between countries, and proving that you can build an elite physique without a traditional routine, comfort, or convenience. Structure is something I create, not something I wait for.

FAQs

I have a holiday planned during the package, should I wait?
No, this is a great opportunity for you to learn how to have fun and still maintain your physique on holiday. It's part of the process. Say you get your dream physique, so are you never going to go on holiday again because you'll lose it? Long term success is as much about minimising setbacks as it is making progress.

Can you just write me a plan? I don't need a coach, I just need to know what to do.
There's no secret plan, most stuff works. Some more than others, but it works. If you arent seeing results, its not a knowledge problem. It's an execution problem. You don't need to know what to do, you need to know how to do it. To be coached on how to make things as easy as possible, how to get consistent even when you're busy. To be supported when it's difficult. Chances are, there arent many people in your life on the same fitness journey as you. Having someone in your corner is invaluable.

Do you have any requirements to join your packages?
A gym membership (or very well kitted out home gym) and a basic understanding of the exercises. The workouts I program you in the app will all have example videos so you don't need to know everything. But I don't coach total beginners.
The main thing I look for in people is a mindset not an ability. If you have an open, growth oriented mindset and have truly made the decision you want to change and take responsibility for your goals.

I'm really busy at the moment, I don't think I'll get the most out of it?
Does life ever really get less busy? I'm not here to pile a load of work and pressure on you. I'm not your boss, I'm your partner in this endevour. You're paying me! Done right, a fitness plan will add structure, increase your confidence and give you back more energy than you put in. Small incremental improvements that build momentum, will get you further, faster, than chucking you in the deep end. I built my physique working a stressful, long hours investment banking job, I get it.

I wouldn't ask you this directly, but im actually a bit nervous about getting a coach. I feel like its going to be stressful, will it?
I have been the same, with business and fitness coaches. You are right to be nervous, some coaches are very drill sergeanty and demanding. There is a time and a place for that, and some people do respond well to it. But if you're thinking this, then that probably isn't you!
Don't worry, I'm a supportive coach. I feel nervous and feel the responsibility to get you results. It can be difficult at times, but my aim is for you to feel like I am helping you acheive something that you want to acheive. Not adding to the stress but helping you combat it.

Do you have much coaching experience?
Before personal training. I founded a sea dipping group at the investment bank I worked for (they had a costal office). I went and got outdoor first aid trained, completed an open water swim coaching qualification and set up the group. Only 1 or 2 of the 20+ regulars I gathered had ever been in the sea in winter. I coached them all through their first winter and they loved it. Total mix of ages, abilities. I LOVED that group, they were all amazing people and formed such a good community. They are still going strong to this day. I'm really proud of that group.
